Advertising for B2B SaaS
Most SaaS advertising targets a person who resembles a buyer. The harder problem is timing: the same company is a bad prospect in March and an obvious one in June, because something about the business changed. B2B.ID Ads lets you build campaigns around supported business context rather than persona resemblance alone.
Reach businesses around the problem your software solves — while they are dealing with it.
Example placement
Payroll software company
Payroll that keeps up while you hire
Onboard new employees in minutes, across states.
Illustrative creative showing the format and disclosure — not a real advertiser or campaign.
The contexts worth buying
Available context types are limited to what B2B.ID currently supports for targeting — check the campaign builder for the current list.
The business is growing its team
Headcount change is the moment a lot of operational software becomes urgent rather than interesting.
The business is looking for providers
A business already evaluating outside help is a business willing to change how something is done.
The business is selling into a new market
New markets break existing tooling assumptions and open replacement windows.
Three things that make saas campaigns work
Lead with the change, not the category
Category copy ("the modern payroll platform") reads the same to everyone. Context copy names the situation the business is actually in.
Send the click to something inspectable
Software buyers are professionally suspicious. Landing on a B2B ID with your offerings, work and proof answers the question a landing page usually dodges: who is this company.
Run it beside Recommend, not instead of it
Recommend surfaces you when the platform determines fit. Ads add distribution you choose. Different jobs, same identity underneath.

Outcome

Where this channel is the wrong tool
- B2B.ID does not sell technology-stack, revenue-band or seat-count targeting. If your entire plan depends on those filters, this is not the right channel for that slice.
- Reach is limited to businesses on B2B.ID. For top-of-funnel volume you will still want search or social.
SaaS questions
Can I target companies using a competitor's product?
No. B2B.ID Ads does not offer technology-stack targeting, and we will not imply otherwise.
Can I retarget site visitors?
Only if the campaign builder supports it in your account. Retargeting is not something we claim generically across the product.
What counts as a result here?
Impressions, clicks and spend are recorded for every campaign. Outcomes are connected only where B2B.ID has the evidence — a gap is shown as unknown, not as a failure.
